π About the Role:
We at Nooph Technologies Pvt. Ltd. are hiring an experienced L2 OSS Support Engineer for our esteemed client in the Telecom domain. As part of the role, you will provide technical support for open-source telecom solutions and ensure high system availability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
β Key Responsibilities
Incident Management & Triage
- Serve as the primary point of contact for production incidents related to Site Manager, Procurement Manager, and Facility Manager applications.
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Prometheus & Grafana.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of incidents in microservices environments.
- Categorize, prioritize, and escalate issues to technical teams (Network, Security, Cloud, DevOps).
Troubleshooting & Resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
- Analyze logs, monitoring dashboards, and system alerts to identify and resolve problems.
- Document findings, troubleshooting steps, and solutions into knowledge base articles.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Communicate incident status and resolutions effectively to stakeholders.
- Create detailed RCA reports after critical incidents.
- Act as the bridge between technical and business teams.
SLA Adherence & Performance Improvement
- Ensure all incidents comply with SLAs.
- Recommend process improvements for incident management and support operations.
Knowledge Management
- Maintain runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base.
- Identify recurring issues and propose permanent fixes.
- Participate in post-incident review sessions.
π Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Electronics & Communication, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong domain expertise in OSS Platforms & Microservices Applications.
- 5+ years of experience in technical support, operations, or SRE/L2 roles.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus & Grafana.
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP) and data center environments.

- Containerization: Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, Mesos-Marathon, Cloud Foundry.
- RDBMS: Oracle, MySQL, Sybase.
- Big Data Tools: NIFI, Kafka, Spark, Elasticsearch.
- Basic Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
